Facebook Fan Page!

I created a facebook page for the blog! I've noticed that some of the blogs I follw have created pages and I know that many of my readers click onto my blog from when I link a post on facebook. This will be so much easier for friends and family! Like my facebook page to stay updated!

As, I've said before, I love when I get a comment here, on facebook or when I run into someone and they tell me that they check my blog every week because of my menu planning! It makes me feel good :) I thought I would share some of my favorite blogs where I get many recipes from. My husband thinks I'm ridloucus, even though he benefits from the new recipes, but I follow close to 100 blogs in  my Google Reader! Here are a few of my favorite....

Who Wants To Be A Guest Blogger?

Many people come here to the blog for my menu planning and recipes. I love when I run into people and they tell me they used a recipe or got a dinner idea from my blog.  Every summer I take off from menu planning but I have added a couple recipes. July has been very busy for us, the oven hasn't been on so much and I haven't posted as much as I would have liked but I thought, what if I had some of my readers guest post a recipe they would like to share. My Blog Book!

When I first started this book a few years back, Pete suggested I print out my pages and save them so I could look back. I liked the idea but never got around to doing it. When I was blogging a few weeks back, I noticed an ad on the right side. I clicked on the link and it was a site to turn your blog into a book! I had read in other blogs I follow about how they made books but had no idea how to go about it. I was pumped! I entered the dates of the first year I blogged and it created a book for me... it was that easy. Go to blog2print to find out more!

Blogger Issues

Is anyone else having problems with blogger? I sign in so that I can comment on a blog and then it won't let me post and I'm signed out. It's so annoying I haven't been able to post on anyone else's blog for over a week. I thought it might be because of my computer but then I was reading another blog this morning and she mentioned she was having the same problem! I get so annyoed at blogger sometimes. I am reading all the blogs I usually do, I just can't comment!

Thanks to my friend Bethany of Siemen Says, I was able to completley change around the look of my blog.  She made the collage of photos for me and gave me a lesson on how to operate Blogger. Blog Changes

Stay tuned!!! The blog will be undergoing some new changes, thanks to my friend Bethany! I'm an idiot  not computer savy, so there is so much I want do but I just don't know how, she is going to show me!! I can't wait... check in tomorrow, most will be changed by then!!

..... actually check for changes on Friday morning. Had to reschedule my playdate computer session with Bethany until Thursday night!

I Want This On A Shirt!

I'm at Target and saw this bib. Love it!! However, Jack has so many bibs, that I am not going to buy it. However, if it was on a t-shirt I would buy one for both boys!!

New Signature

I want to "decorate" my blog more. I follow a lot of blogs and there are so many times that I wish I knew how to do something like they had on their blogs!

Luckily my sisters both started blogging recently and Nicole found out how to create a signature at the bottom of each post, something I have wanted to know how to do for a while! She discovered Moms Who Blog, a blog with tons of helpful tips!


The next thing I would like to know how to add pictures to my header where it says The Wescott Family. I tried it using one photo through blogspot but it was huge. I like the blogs that people have two or three photos. Any tips would be great, thanks!!

Help a Family!

Veronica King is a women who's blog I follow. Her husband died(You can read about it here) on November 9th of this year, leaving her alone with two small children and one due in a few weeks.

Another blogger who I also follow makes a small amount of money from one of the advertisements she has on her blog based soley on how many "hits" she gets on her blog every month. She has decided to donate all of the money raised in January to the King family!

HOW CAN YOU HELP?
