Rangeley

We have had this weekend with the Siemen family planned for 6 months. With lacrosse & t-ball  keeping our life super hectic, it was such a fabulous weekend to get away and get off the grid!

 

On our way to Rangeley State Park, we stopped at Height of the Land to take in some views!

When we got to our campsite, we roasted hot dogs over the fire for a true camping experience!  

 

Peter got up at 4am to go on his first fishing trip with Pete & Ben.. it paid off, he got a fish!!

We took a hike to cascade falls gorge...

After lunch we decided to head out on Rangeley Lake for the families to take turns going for a boat ride. Ben, Bethany & the girls went first.

Mt. Blue Camping

This past weekend we went up to Mt. Blue State Park to camp with the Varney's and had a great time! The boys love to camp and spend some much time outdoors!

The kids slept great in the tent!

It rained a bit on Saturday morning but with some bacon & mimosas, we made the best of it!

We then headed out for a drive to Coos Canyon. The scenery in this part of the state is beautiful! This weekend made me realize I want to explore this state more!

Thanks to Kati, we got a family picture and I'm in one. I need to not always be behind the camera! I wish I had remembered to get a pic of Kati & I together! We got to relax, enjoy some time off the grid and it was so nice to have that time.

Camp Time!

We got a chance to get up to camp this past weekend and brought Ben, Bethany & Mackenna with us. Our plan was to go apple picking but the weather had other plans. What ended up happening was a very relazing weekend :)

Upta Camp

The first weekend of our vacation, we spent it up at camp with family. We have done that for the last few years, getting a chance to hit up the New Balance tent sale and the Skowhegan Fair!
