Menu Plan Monday

I am coming into this Monday, exhausted. We had a fun, whirlwind two days down visiting my sister in Massachusetts. So as I write out my menu before the daycare kids arrive, I am feeling pretty uninspired....we're going simple this week! I headed over to my recipe tab to see what I could make easily this week.  I hope you all enjoy the week!

Anniversary Pub Crawl

Last weekend, Pete and I celebrated 5 years of marriage. We talked about taking the kids away for a weekend in North Conway, but since we're going to Florida in a month we decided to wait. We didn't want to just go out to dinner, so Pete thought of the fun idea of a pub crawl in the Old Port. Our babysitter fell through so my amazing sister Laura drove up to watch the boys for us!Thanks again Laura. Our limo driver, Cynthia, picked us at 5 to drive us in.... I didn't say this was going to be a wild pub crawl, hahaha!

Cheers to 5 years of marriage! Starting off at Binga's.......

After a stop at the Grill Room we made our way to Pat's Pizza.

While who walked in while we were enjoying our time at Pat's Pizza?? Our neighbors Kelli & Brandon! They were out for dinner and joined us for the remainder of our pub crawl :)

Enjoying a drink at Bull Feeney's. We finished our night at Gritty's with Kelli, Brandon, Cynthia, Katelyn, Mic(Katelyn's sister) and her boyfriend Brayden. We then headed home to enjoy some beverages with Laura!

While we were out having fun, the boys were having a blast with Laura & Lola!

Friday iPhoto Dump

It's been a while since I've done a Friday photo post, things are just crazy at the end of the week! I took a bunch of pics from our anniversary pub crawl and our trip to The Topsfield Fair, so those will be separate posts.

1. Saturday we headed over to Home Depot for the kids workshop they do every first Saturday of the month. Peter was excited this month's project was a fire truck!

2. Home Depot then turned into a pumpkin patch for us :)

Menu Plan Monday

 It's clean out the pantry/freezer at the Wescott's this week!We had a wonderful weekend enjoying our anniversary! I was looking in when I realized how much stuff we had, so I only made a quick trip to BJ's for eggs,  milk and cereal bars this week. We have everything else we need! My blog facebook page can always keep you updated! Enjoy your week!

Looking Back.....

Today Pete and I are celebrating our 5th wedding anniversary, 17 years ago, when I first meet Pete, I could have never imagined what an incredible life we would build together.......

This is the first picture I have of the two of us... I was 17, he was 15. We wouldn't start dating for another 7 years :)

Cumberland Fair

I love fairs :) I got to go to the Cumberland Fair twice this week...once I took that daycare for a field trip and on Thursday night we went as a family with Ben & Bethany.

 We had plans to go as a family on Saturday to watch the truck pull(we're big fans) but the weather was not looking promising so we met Ben, Bethany & Mackenna on Thursday night instead. Good idea, it rained all day on Saturday.

It was quite a feat trying to get a picture of these three!!!

Menu Plan Monday

What a rainy weekend! It was the perfect weekend to make Ribs n' Rice and boy was it good!!! Even though we had a busy weekend planned and it all got changed, we enjoyed the weekend at home at got a lot done! The addition is now 98% finished!
