Menu Plan Monday

Someone said to me the other day, "you should have a night of leftovers on your meal plan." Well, we rarely have leftovers. Pete always takes some for lunch the next day, I usually have some for lunch the next day and sometimes I plan my meals so it's what my daycare kids have for lunch. What is your favorite leftover meal?  Have a great week!

Monday: Smothered Pork Chops
Tuesday: Italian Mac & Cheese
Wednesday: Chicken Stir Fry
Thursday: Pizza
Friday: Dinner at Laura's!

Music Class & More Driving

Last Saturday was another busy day for us! On Saturday mornings we go to a Music Together class. Some of you might remember our experience with the last music class we took. This class is great!! We'll be signing up again next session, Peter loves it! Because of Halloween, the kids got to dress up for last week's class!

Peter and Jack with their friends Gideon Buzz Lightyear and Violet Elmo. Peter was happy to wear his monster costume until he say his buddy. Needless to say, I went shopping the next day to get a Buzz costume he could wear when we took the daycare kids trick or treating.

with my little chicken :)

Peter out of costume and enjoying music class!

Violet and Jack.. they get into trouble at daycare and music class!

After music class, the boys and I headed right up to Farmington so the boys could meet their new cousin! I have driven to Farmington A LOT lately, LOL!

Jack is not the youngest cousin anymore, meeting Allie!

of course Peter had to show Allie his tractor!

with my little sisters :)

the playroom/waiting room was right next to Nicole room which made it was easy with all the kids!

Nonni & Poppi with the crew!

Peter loved this wagon! Dylan was a good sport in taking them for multiple laps around the birth unit!

Halloween

We all know that Cinco de Mayo is my favorite holiday. I have decided that Halloween is my next favorite.... well Thanksgiving, but then Halloween!

We started off the day by taking the daycare kids to a few houses in the neighborhood to trick or treat :)

I love to entertain and decided Halloween would be my holiday to have something. We started a Halloween open house with the Varney's & Sullivan's the year the kids were born. I love that it has grown to include other families and will only continue to grow. A picture of them the first year and this year :)
Miss Mackenna came over with her Mom & Dad for some pics! Next year her and Jack will go out together to get some candy!
My friend Mara took this photo and I love it! Before we went out while the adults were eating dinner, we could hear lots of laughter from Peter's bedroom. We peeked in and saw this :)

Papa & Mame came over to see the boys in their costumes and stayed with Jack so he didn't have to go out in the cold!
Off we went to Trick or Treat! Our first stop was Memere & Pepere's house! The guys would wait at the end of driveways while we took the kids up to the doors. They looked a little suspect, haha... our orange solo cups did not contain hot apple cider, LOL!

Love these girls.. don't get to see them enough :)

How many kids can you fit in a wagon? They also walked a bit.. Whit and Cayla even held hands :)
We made our annual stop at The Brewer house! Kelli was super sweet again this year and gave my boys balloons and stickers.  Great picture of their family, excited to have Ethan join us for T or T next year!
We had such a great time trick or treating and it was nice to come back home and see the pumpkins we carved the evening before all lite up on our front steps. Can't wait for next year!

Pumpkin Adventure

Last week, I took the boys to pick out pumpkins. We headed up to Storey's to find some and of course Peter wanted a really big one! After a few minutes of looking, he found one!

Jack trying to help :)

Peter pushing the wagon with his pumpkin, we picked up a couple of small pumpkins as well.

Originally our plan today was to plant tulips and to carve our pumpkins out on the back deck but with the snow storm we got last night, we had to make a new plan.  Tonight we carved our pumpkins in the kitchen once Jack went to bed.

I decided to carve out the little ones while Pete and Peter worked on the big one, it was harder then I thought! I orginally was going to carve the boys names on the pumpkins but that was going to take me awhile!

I carved a W in one of the pumpkins

Hey, it's Allie J!

Yesterday Allie Joellen Lesperance entered the world in record time! I was talking to my sister, Nicole, at about 9:30 yesterday morning and she wasn't having any contractions. An hour later my Mom was on her way up and Nicole was having contractions. Around 11:30 she decided she should go to the hospital. Her and Nate arrived at Franklin Memorial Hospital about 10 minutes past noon and at 1:24 pm, October 28th, Allie joined the world... and our family :)
Thanks to Jan, Mon, Mame, I was able to leave the boys down here and make a quick trip up!

With big sister Gwen :)
