Happy 4th!

Happy 4th of July!! We started the day with a visit to Memere & Pepere's where Adam and Gus had matching t-shirts!

We then headed up to my Mom's to celebrate the 4th! We weather was weird that day with a couple of short rain showers, but we still managed to get some swimming and fishing in and had a great day! All the kids had matching shirts!

Gray Animal Farm

Today, the rain finally stopped!! We decided to take advantage of that and spend the day at the Gray Animal Farm (Now called the Maine Wildlife Park). It is a rehabilitation and refuge park in Gray, Maine. They have deer, bears, moose, fisher cats and many other animals. It is perfect for kids, and we had a bunch in our group. We were joined by the Reynard, Revasz, Hooper and Lachapelle Families. We had a great day!

Feeding the deer...

We always find time to pose for a pic!

Pete's arch nemesis

Pete found out that they had grills, so we brought some charcoal and grilled some burgers and dogs and had a nice relaxing lunch!

It's the Gray Animal Farm, what do you expect!

Happy Birthday Gus!

Where does the time go? Three months ago today, I gave birth to my beautiful baby boy! Pete and I are so in love with him, I can already not imagine my life without him. He is such a happy baby, a great eater and a good sleeper. About three weeks ago he started sleeping through the night, making our nights A LOT easier! I am guessing he weighs over 15 pounds now, a big boy!! The poor guy will probably have an idenity crisis due to the fact that he has so many nicknames! I decided to have a little photo shoot this morning to capture him on his three month birthday!

Return of the Internet!

Yes, it is true!! My internet works again!! I finally got around to calling Time Warner and yesterday they sent someone over! Our cable wire was not working, so now we are back up and running. I can start posting more now! I mean look at this kid, he is so cute, who wouldn't want to see more of him!! Hahaha!

Falling asleep in Daddy's arms.....

When we bought our house it was considered "move in" condition. However I don't think that house had been updated since the 70's so we have slowly been redoing a lot of things. We painted everything! We replaced all the hardware on the cabinets and doors in the house. We added recess lighting to the kitchen and living room, replaced all the light fixtures in the house, knocked down a wall and lots of other things. We had done so much to the kitchen and always talked about replacing the faucet. A rainy Sunday gave Pete the chance to do it!

Our old faucet with a broken sprayer!

Thank god I have a handy husband, that can do all these projects!

Our new faucet!

Bela trying to get a little attention from Pete also!

LaKermese Festival

Gus and I had a first together.... the LaKermese Festival in Biddeford. We were bummed that Pete was working. Each year they have a parade and festival celebrating the french heritage of the Biddo. This year we experienced the parade (his 3rd!) and interesting is all I can say! We had a great time with the people we were with, Mara & Ryan, Emily & Kenny, Bethany & Jay, and Jen & Joe. To tie it all in for you, Emily and I went to high school together, and Bethany, Mara, Emily, and Jen all went to college together. Out of us five ladies that were there, three of us have babies and both Mara and Jen are pregnant... we are growing up!!

Gus, Gideon & Ashlyn at the parade (Gus missed the first half!)

Pumpkin Visit

Jill (AKA Pumpkin) was my college rooommate. She now lives in Colorado. Her husband Matt's family lives in Connecticut, so they were able to come up and meet Gus while they were here! I hadn't seen her in a year so it was great to spend some time with her. Too short of a visit though.

Back to work

Well I'm back to work, and so far, so good! It is great to be back with the boys, I missed them when I was off. I loved being off for 12 weeks, it was the perfect amount of time. I was ready to go back to work. This week we are getting into a routine, the boys LOVE Gus and most days they get to see him, but with Pete's shift work it is nice to just have time with the boys as well! Ethan goes to Center Day Camp in Windham every day and loves it! Isaac loves going to pick him up at the bus in the afternoon!

Fitting them all in my car!
