She's Finally Here!!!

She was overdue by a week and I kept joking with Bethany that she was holding out for September because she wanted sapphire as her birthstone. Weighing 8lbs, 4ounces, at 5:28 am yesterday morning, Mackenna entered the world! We got to meet her last night and she is adorable!!! We're so happy for Ben & Bethany and look forward to our kids growing up together!

The Wescott boys excited to go meet her!

I had our boys at Maine Med and had never been to the new Mercy birthplace. A positive difference between the two??? They tell you to bring beverages to celebrate!! So we walk in the door and Ben grabs a couple for him & Pete! I got to have a some champagne :)

The daughter I'll never have, hahaha

Jack & Peter decided to wrestle while we were there....already trying to show off in front of her!

Mackenna's Baby Shower

Yesterday afternoon, Ben & Bethany had a Jack & Jill shower for baby Mackenna. It was at their lake house in Bridgton and they got wonderful stuff for their baby girl that will be arriving soon! It was great seeing friends and their families, we left the kids at my Mom's so we could enjoy the shower!

A beautiful afternoon on the deck

Of course the Wescott's had to get Mackenna a camo baby doll!

I think they are talking about how great their wives are, haha!!

June Babies

Jack has some new friends! Three special boys entered the world this month! We are looking forward to many play dates and camp outs with these little guys!

On Thursday, June 9th, our friends Mike & Melissa Storey welcomed identical twin boys! I got to sneak in early that Saturday morning without the boys to meet them! They are healthy and adorable!

Saturday night we were visiting our neighbors and friends, Kelli and Brandon. I placed Jack on Kelli's stomach and told her baby to come out, Jack wanted to play. What a good listener he was! Yesterday, Kelli and Brandon welcomed their son Ethan Joesph into the world. It was an extra special day for both. Kelli now shares a birthday with her son and Brandon really got to celebrate Father's Day with his son!

We've been excited to meet Ethan!

Busy Saturday

Another bites the dust!

You are allowed
2 turkeys with the superpack hunting license, so at 4:30am, Pete and his Dad went hunting and he got another one! Two Saturday's in a row. This one is 21 1/2 pounds.

It's 6am Jack & Peter are up, so why not get in a photo with Daddy & Grampie!

Since everyone was up early, we decided we wanted to get as much done as we could Saturday morning. My Mom called and asked if we wanted to do breakfast, so we met them at Charlie's Diner and enjoyed a good breakfast. We then headed to BJ's and Home Depot to get a bunch of stuff we wanted/needed.

My friend Kelli had her baby shower this afternoon. She lives across the street so it was very convenient for me :) Our friend Melissa, who's baby shower was a few weeks ago, also was there. All our boys will be playing together next summer!

We've always wanted a garden since we bought our home. Groundhogs have been a problem. Thanks to a "relocation" effort by Pete, they are now worried about staying alive in our backyard, so we haven't seen many this year. We thought we would start small this summer and if we can keep the plants alive, we'll get bigger next year. We bought a tomato plant, green pepper plant, 4 cucumber plants, and some herbs... basil, parsley, rosemary, thyme and oregano. We planted them when I got back from Kelli's shower.

No idea, why the rest of the blog shows a link.. starting to really have problems and not like blogger!

My tomato plant and green pepper plant hang on the shed.

The cucumbers & herbs on the deck!

After we planted all the veggies & herbs, Since the end of the world didn't happen, we headed back over to Kelli & Brandon's for a post baby shower cookout with their family. We had a great end to our Saturday!

It's Been A Long Time!

Well I have been on a two month break...but I am back! I took a break because I wasn't sure how many people were actually reading the blog. To my surprise I was asked a lot why I hadn't posted lately! So here I am.

A lot has happened in two months. In our lives we have attended three weddings and had three new babies enter our life! Whitney Camilla Varney, Cayla Mae Sullivan and Evelyn May Kahn all were born in two week intervals. Our little man has a bunch of ladies to chose from! We also got a new family member when Jenny and Craig were married at the end of August. Ben and Bethany and Tim and Tianna also had great weddings.

Peter has is growing faster then I can handle! I rarely call him Gus anymore, though the Kahn boys still do! I now usually call him Peter or Buna. Buna(a cross between buddy and buddda) At his 6 month check up he was 21.8 pounds!

We are staying busy and I will be back on more often!
