The daycare kids were excited to walk Peter & Maddie to the bus stop!
The bus arrived and he happily got on. I cried like a baby watching it pull away!
Luckily Auntie works at his school so she was able to give me updates about his first day :) She snapped a picture of Peter with his teacher, Mrs. Williams!
It was Jack's turn the next day!
He is going to a preschool called My First School, two days a week!
with Kristen

UPDATE: Both boys are loving school!!! Peter has grown leaps & bounds since starting Kindergarten and his teacher is wonderful! His favorite school day is Fridays when he gets pizza for lunch and has Phy Ed with his Auntie.. Miss Wescott :) Jack and I are still attached at the hip so we have many hugs at drop off. He has two teachers, Miss Danielle & Miss Misty. He has some great friends at school and at pick up always has a smile on his face!

Jack's First Day!

This happened yesterday...

Yes, Jack started school. If it makes you teary eyed, don't worry. It made me teary eyed just writing it.  Before he was potty trained he kept asking to go to school with Peter. I told him when he used the potty he could go! Well guess who remembered! So two weeks into potty training and him asking, I told him he could go, he was so excited! Then yesterday morning came and he didn't want to go. I convinced him to get in the car, off we went!

Once we got into his classroom he started playing with the other kids.

Playing with his classmates in the sandbox.

He had some tears but overall did really good! After I left his class, I got into the car and cried. I just can't believe he has grown up so much! He is excited to go to school tomorrow, it's pajama day!

Jack's Hospital Visit

Never a dull moment for us turned into one of the scariest time I've ever had in my life! A few weeks ago on a Friday morning, Jack woke up gasping for air! I immediately called Pete home from work and we rushed Jack to the ER. They don't mess around when you bring in a 2 year old with difficulty breathing! We went into the critical care section and after an x-ray, 3 nebulizer treatments and a dose of steroids, they had us stay overnight for observation.
Resting while we wait in the ER.
Only bright point for him that morning was when he discovered the ambulances right outside his window!
When we got transferred up to the Barbara Bush children's wing, he asked to call Peter :)
Kristen and the kids made an adorable card for him that day, it was so sweet!
Nonni came to visit and bring some treats.
A board in his hospital room so the nurses could know him better :)

Having dinner with Daddy.
A full room of visitors!
A beautiful view at sunset.
Katelyn & Jack strolling the hospital halls.
Peter and Jack enjoying the tool bench they brought in for him to play with.
Having some water before bed.
Resting in the hospital bed.
A little coloring before we leave :)
Once he got discharged, he spent the next couple days relaxing at home, which if you know Jack, was not an easy thing to do, haha! A scary time but lucky it all turned out OK!!

Our Afternoon With Jack

Have I mentioned that every weekend, the first chance he gets, Peter tries to go with his grandparents? It doesn't matter which set, but he loves to go with them! He is so spoiled, LOL! So for the last few weekends, we've had some one on one time with Jack.

Last Saturday afternoon, we decided to take a ride up to LL Bean. We use to go all the time with Peter to show him the animals and walk around. It was their Spring fishing weekend so there was lots to see and do.  Jack took it all in.........
Climbing up the rock wall in the shoe department....
Looking at the fish with Daddy :)
Checking out the Moose!

We then went outside to enjoy the beautiful spring weather........
Hi Guys! Can I come in and play?
Peek a boo!

Giffords was giving out free samples of their new ice cream! It was so good!
Double spooning, haha
I think he had a great afternoon with Mommy & Daddy :)
